Globe-trotting celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain is working on a new cookbook, and it now has a release date. Appetites, published by Harper Collins imprint Ecco Books, will be released on October 25, 2016. Ecco announced the date in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

The cover shown in the above photo is apparently a placeholder, and the real deal will be showcased in April.

When he revealed plans for the book, Bourdain said he had "morphed into a psychotic, anally retentive, bad-tempered Ina Garten." The result of such a metamorphosis is a "home-cooking, home-entertaining cookbook like no other," according to Ecco.

Spanning recipes from both his extensive travels and his home life, Appetites will be Bourdain's first cookbook in 10 years. His longtime lieutenant Laurie Woolever is co-authoring, Bobby Fisher is on board to photograph, and the as-yet-unrevealed cover is by legendary cartoonist Ralph Steadman, best known for his work with Hunter S. Thompson.
