Sometimes everything on a menu looks so good that choosing just one dish to order seems impossible. Eater LA senior editor Farley Elliott sidesteps that challenge entirely by ordering literally everything that excites him. This is Eat The Menu, a whirlwind round-up of all of the best and most enticing offerings at some of our favorite establishments.
Today the crew visits Langer’s Delicatessen in Westlake, Los Angeles, home of "the original #19 pastrami sandwich" and a current member of LA’s Eater 38. Langer's menu is as long as it is classic, boasting a ton of pastrami, turkey, corned beef, and ham combinations, as well as towering tuna and egg salads. Elliot tdoes not back away from the challenge of taste testing the best of what Langer's has to offer, resulting in a table-full of lunchtime deli favorites. Watch for his commentary, and a look into the menu at this LA institution.
