Ring in 2017 With the Tiniest New Year’s Eve Party Ever

It’s a miniature countdown to midnight

In 30 hours, Americans on the East Coast will bid adieu to 2016 and welcome 2017 — hopefully, it’ll be a little better. If all the bad news from the past 12 months has you feeling worn down, perhaps you need a pick-me-up. This video from Tastemade features the necessary makings for the tiniest New Year’s Eve party you’ll ever see. It’s cute, and it just might bring a smile to your face at the end of a long year.

In addition to serving an adorable bottle of miniaturized Champagne, the giant party host prepares a tiny puff pastry filled with brie, walnuts, and honey. The pastry is cooked in a pint-sized oven, and it’s topped with more honey and rosemary. The finished product takes a spot on tiny table, surrounded by various tiny hors d’oeuvres. It’s a nice holiday spread for anyone who is roughly the size of a mouse.
