On their final winter vacation as the first family, the Obamas headed to Alan Wong’s Restaurant last night in Honolulu. The spot is an apparent favorite of the family’s — they’ve dined at the James Beard Award-winning establishment during previous visits to the island.

According to the Associated Press, Michelle and Barack arrived at the restaurant around 8:15 p.m. and were said to be dining with friends. Their arrival didn’t go unnoticed; roughly 40 onlookers inside the restaurant tried to catch a glimpse of the most famous faces in the land during dinner. Based on a recent Facebook post, the restaurant’s owners were excited to host the President again: “For the last time as the President of the United States, Barack Obama dined at the restaurant tonight. We are grateful for his continued support over all these years during his annual Winter vacation in Hawaii.”

No word yet as to what the duo dined on, but considering the menu at Alan Wong’s, traditional Hawaiian fare was in order. Chef Miya Nishimura’s most recent menu included dishes like bacon-crusted salmon, seared mahi-mahi, ginger-crusted onaga, and macadamia-coconut lamb chops.
