New Glass Allows Astronauts to Sip Whiskey in Zero Gravity

“Our brief was to develop a whisky glass that worked under the conditions of microgravity.”

Now that we know whiskey tastes weird in space, one company has created a glass that solves that problem and the pesky issue of zero gravity. Ballantine's Whiskey is behind the new glass, which features a 10 kg pull magnet meant to keep the precious, golden liquid in place, and a one-way valve that siphons each sip up towards the mouth.
