That upcoming biopic about British celebrity chef Marco Pierre White may have found its leading man. Entertainment.ie reports that Michael Fassbender — of Inglourious Basterds, 12 Years a Slave, and Prometheus — is slated to don lengthier locks and play White in the adaptation of the famous chef's memoir The Devil in the Kitchen. "Ridley Scott has agreed with him that he has first option once the script is finished... The script [writing] starts on the first of September and will be finished by the end of the year," White tells Entertainment.ie.

White's memoir tells the story about his "tumultuous childhood upbringing" and his rise to superstar chefdom in the 80s and 90s. Scott and White may have completely ignored our casting suggestions, but there are still plenty of potential roles (Gordon Ramsay and Mario Batali included) ripe for the picking.
