Dressing an animal never looked so good.

Here's another artistic look at what's going on at Maaemo, a two Michelin-starred restaurant in Oslo, Norway. This dark video, directed by Finnish filmmaker Tuukka Koski, showcases the Nordic tradition of butchering and roasting meat over an open flame. It's the second in a series of chapters that explores the what inspires the restaurant's creative expression, following a look into a day in the life of Maaemo.

The film was shot on location in southern Norway, and Einar Selvik of Wardruna provided the score. The restaurant says it "wanted to create something with strong roots in old Nordic culture that gives another reference point to the cuisine and identity of our food."
