Winning hearts one visit to the butter cow at a time.

A slew of presidential candidates descended on the Iowa State Fair this weekend to show voters how they handle themselves around pork chops and various fried foods on sticks. Mike Huckabee was the first to hit the fair on Thursday with a trip to the Iowa Pork Producers tent, reports The New York Times. "Mmm. Being a Razorback fan, I guess it would be appropriate to say, go hogs," Huckabee remarked.

Then, on Friday Jeb Bush shocked commentators by abandoning his Paleo Diet for beer and a fried snickers bar. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also took time Saturday to sip lemonade and marvel at pork chops on a stick. Meanwhile, Donald Trump arrived by a helicopter (as opposed to his traditional escalator). No word yet on what he ate, though he did pay a visit to the butter cow, according to The Washington Post. With a week left of fair festivities to go, plenty more candidates are expected to make the high-caloric journey.
