This Documentary Highlights Bourbon From Corn to Barrel

It's an ode to brown liquor.

Bourbon is the most American of whiskies, serving as this country's favorite spirit since it was born in Kentucky in the 18th century. Now a new documentary, Neat: The Story of Bourbon, aims to shed light on how the brown liquor is transformed from corn into the popular liquor. The film should be released next year, but this official trailer offers a preview of what to expect. Why make a documentary about bourbon? As Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear explains, "I think bourbon, in a way, is a slowing down of a fast lifestyle. It is a genteel way of enjoying life."
