Company Labels Chicken Broth 'Bone Broth' and Charges $1.29 More For It

The "bone broth" has one more ingredient.

So called "bone broth" — the liquid trend sweeping the nation — is just another term for broth/stock/brodo. However, people keep charging more for it. Case in point: Blogger Frodnesor posted an image of two containers of Pacific Foods' organic chicken broth at a grocery store. The one labeled "bone broth" — which has the exact same ingredient list as the "chicken broth," except for the addition of cider vinegar — costs a full $1.29 more.

If you call it "bone broth" you can charge $1 more
