Watch Delicatessen Owner Ziggy Gruber Tour a Brooklyn Fish Market in "Deli Man"

The fish is just as important as the pastrami.

Directed by Erik Greenberg Anjou, Cohen Media Group's new film Deli Man captures the rich history and culture of the Jewish delicatessen through the story of Ziggy Gruber of famed Houston, Texas deli Kenny & Ziggy's. His story is punctuated by those of iconic New York delis like Katz's, 2nd Avenue Deli, the Carnegie and the Stage, and others. Jerry Stiller, Larry King, actor Fyvush Finkel, and others make cameos in the film Joshua David Stein gave 5 out of 5 stars in his recent review. In this exclusive clip, Gruber takes a tour inside ACME Smoked Fish Corporation in Brooklyn and shows how the employees descale fish, how the fish are smoked, and even tells us how he likes his white fish, "I'm always a stickler on the white fish. Mine is jumbo, golden, and juicy."
