Last night on The Daily Show, host Jon Stewart discussed how Palcohol-hating senator Chuck Schumer is the key vote in deciding whether or not President Obama's Iran nuclear deal will pass. Earlier this week, MSNBC's Steve Kornacki invited Schumer in to discuss the situation, but Kornacki made the mistake of taking "an old New York Jewish man to a diner" for the interview. Stewart exasperatedly adds: "You realize what this means? You're never going to end up talking about the Iran deal. You're only going to end up talking about f****** diners."
Stewart turned out to be completely correct: For the majority of the interview Schumer discussed everything from diner menus, to his weird diet tricks, to how much he loves grits, which Stewart quips he should save for a chapter in his memoir called "My Grits Awakening." As for the Iran deal, Schumer admits during the interview that he hasn't had time to read it yet.
