Nick Offerman is a wildly successful television and film actor, but at one point in time, he was struggling and broke. In a recent appearance on Conan, Offerman explained how he once didn't have enough money to repair the radiator in his 1959 Ford pickup truck, so he improvised by using black pepper and then eggs. Maybe Ron Swanson isn't a fictional character, after all.
