The 2015 Welcome Conference was recently held in New York City, bringing together pillars of the hospitality to discuss this year's theme: "being right." Headlining the event was Union Square Hospitality Group's Danny Meyer, the man behind Union Square Cafe, Shake Shack, and Gramercy Tavern, among others. Instead of talking about being right, Meyer explained how that concept can be overrated in the hospitality business, and that doing the right thing is much more important.
