Joe Bastianich Will Serve Lobster Rolls at His New Restaurant in Milan

In addition to throwing a music festival, restaurateur/Italian megastar Joe Bastianich is opening another restaurant this summer. Called Ricci, a press release notes that it will be an "Italian urban brasserie" located in Milan, Italy. Bastianich — and his business partner Italian actress Belen Rodriguez — want to bring "the vibrancy of the New York dining scene" to the Italian city.

Diners can expect a menu of distinctly non-Italian eats. There will be American classics like lobster rolls, porterhouse steaks, and club sandwiches. Scatti di Gusto (translated) writes that Ricci will offer raw seafood plates, plenty of fries, and cupcakes, as well. Plus, the menu includes a lengthy wine list and a number of cocktails.

As for the interior, Ricci is opulent and features multiple chandeliers throughout the space. There are leather benches, chevron hardwood floors, plenty of mirrors, and even a large bookcase. Ricci has outdoor seating too, nestled among shrubbery. Ricci will open its doors June 22. Check out images of the space below:
