Eataly — the Italian food emporium from chef Mario Batali and restaurateur Joe Bastianich — will soon open in Brazil. Batali hinted in 2012 that there were plans for an outpost in São Paulo, and according to Eataly's Facebook page, the location will open in a week.
Batali's Instagram photos reveal the space is expansive and features at least two floors. The store will sell plenty of wine, breads including a variety of foccacia, fresh mozzarella made on site, and pizzas. Like the New York store, there will be a Nutella bar as well. The São Paulo location will also feature a roast meat counter, as well as a place to purchase handmade pasta. Check out images of the store below:
