Director, club owner, producer, uber-geek David Lynch is promoting his coffee again in a new commercial. Lynch has been in the news a lot lately as rumors of a Twin Peaks reboot spurt and sputter. Meanwhile, the masses still need their coffee, hot and fresh as usual. In Lynch's newest ad — which was not created by Lynch but by Andrew Parkhurst — David Lynch coffee is tested on robots. The silver fox is known for his odd approach. A 2012 commercial featured vaguely coffee-related imagery, and in 2011 Lynch landed himself in a bit of hot water when he produced a coffee commercial that showed him hitting on Barbie.
