Esquire Network's cooking competition show Knife Fight is returning for a third season next month. As previously noted, the taping of the show — which is hosted by chef Ilan Hall — has been moved from Los Angeles to Brooklyn and will be shot inside Hall's restaurant, The Gorbals.
According to a press release, the show will have a new tournament-style format and 16 New York area chefs will compete to be crowned the "Beast of the East." Participating chefs include the likes of Daniel Holzman (The Meatball Shop), Einat Admony (Balaboosta), Dale Talde (Talde), and Jonah Miller (Huertas). Chefs Naomi Pomeroy and Kris Morningstar will serve as judges.
The high energy trailer reveals that chefs must tackle some insane ingredients like snakes, frogs, and some very large lobsters. And, at some point in the season, chefs will also be asked to cook a whole alligator. Knife Fight season three premieres May 26. Go, watch the trailer below:
