SHACK ATTACK — Beginning March 13, Shake Shack is bringing back their "When Irish Fries Are Smiling" St. Patrick's Day special — crinkle-cut fries topped with horseradish cream, scallions, and applewood smoked bacon. The company is also offering Mast Brothers chocolate mint frozen custard from March 16 through March 22. Both specials will be on their menus across the nation, except for at the JFK airport and stadium Shacks, which will have to suffer without. [EaterWire]

NEW YORK CITY — LUCKYRICE Grand Feast returns to New York on March 20. The celebration of Asian food and cocktail culture will feature a "greatest hits" menu. Top Chef alumns Leah Cohen (Pig & Khao, New York City) and chef Kristin Kish will be participating in the event alongside other local chefs and bartenders. Tickets are $250 for VIP entrance, $150 for general admission; more information here. [EaterWire]

BALTIMORE — Where's the best place for Chinese takeout? Baltimore residents won't have to wonder much longer. Graphic designer Zak Bickel is creating a glossy 100-page magazine called Charm City Chinese that takes a closer look at the city's Chinese food culture. The project is part of Bickel's senior thesis at the Maryland Institute College of Art. To get ahold of a guide and discover more about the project visit his Kickstarter campaign. [EaterWire]
