In-N-Out Customer Passes Out in Drive-Thru With Gun in Lap

Police had a hard time waking him.

A man was arrested Tuesday for falling asleep at the drive-thru of an In-N-Out in Fresno, California. According to Big Valley News, cops were called to the restaurant to investigate 25-year-old gang member Nicholas Gibson who was passed out in his car with a gun in his lap. The restaurant was evacuated. Police attempted to wake Gibson with a PA system and police sirens to no avail.

While surrounded by police, the car began to roll and hit a wall of the restaurant. Gibson managed to sleep through it all. KMPH writes that police were finally able to wake him up when they arrested him inside of his car. Gibson was charged with a DUI and possession of a handgun after being convicted of a felony.

In-N-Out locations aren't the only fast food restaurants having issues with customers at their drive-thrus. Earlier this month, a drunk woman in Florida was craving Taco Bell after leaving a bar. She attempted to go through the drive-thru but instead crashed her car into the building, "coming to a stop by the soda machine." Check out the local news story below:
