Eater Today: Palcohol Eyes Tennessee, The French Laundry's Crazy Construction, and More

Michelin's twitter strategy is somewhat questionable.

Today, in Palcohol news, powdered alcohol might be on shelves in Tennessee this spring. The controversial product is already banned in three states even though it hasn't yet hit the market. Let's just keep it away from kids, ok?

Last year, Krispy Kreme gave the world K-cups, and this year the makers of impossibly light, occasionally hot and fresh doughnuts are looking to expand their retail coffee offerings. The chain has signed a multi-year licensing agreement with Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA to roast, package, and distribute Krispy Kreme-branded coffee for sale at grocery stores and bulk merchants.

Napa Valley's The French Laundry is remodeling its kitchen. TKRG's director of communications, Sarah Adler, has not returned repeated requests for comment on the redesign. She must be really, really busy. The group's reopening date is "a moving target."
