Chef/empire builder/school lunch crusader Jamie Oliver is launching a new magazine. According to the Guardian, the British chef has inked a partnership deal with media company Time Out to launch a print version of Oliver's popular YouTube channel and community Food Tube. Oliver launched Food Tube — which he describes as "a massive celebration of super-talented food lovers, chefs, experts and cooks" — in 2013, and it currently has over 2.6 million subscribers.

The first issue of the Food Tube "mini magazine" will be published on April 28 and will be distributed within Time Out London. The magazine will feature 24 pages of recipes and food news and will include columns from Food Tube stars like baker Cupcake Jemma and barbecue expert DJ BBQ. Oliver will serve as the editor-in-chief and if all goes well, there are plans "to publish the title internationally through Time Out's network."

Oliver is no stranger to the magazine world. He launched Jamie Magazine — which is filled with recipes, travel stories, and cooking tips — in the UK in 2008, and started publishing a North American version in 2012.
