The Red Hot Orange Sorbet You Didn't Know You Needed in Your Life

Bill Smith, the chef at North Carolina's Crook's Corner, has invented what he calls "clown food," or food that mashes together whatever you have lying around. No one wants orange sorbet, according to Smith, because it tastes like frozen orange juice concentrate. So one Valentine's Day, he saw some Red Hots lying around and decided to add them into an orange sorbet mix. The candy gives the sorbet some pep and some color, turning what could be a bummer into a winner.
