COOKBOOKS — Former Top Chef contestent and New York City-based chef Dale Talde is gearing up to release his first cookbook. Called Asian-American: A Cookbook, the book was written both by Talde and food writer JJ Goode. Check out the cover, just released today, above. As first reported in 2013, is not Asian fusion, rather "it's Asian-American and it's a reflection of the way people are eating today." The book will be released on September 1.

COPENHAGEN — Nordic Food Lab, the test lab/experimental kitchen affiliated with chef René Redzepi's Noma, is coming to the radio. The Nordic Food Lab team has launched its own podcast. From the announcement, the stream will feature "conversations, questions, and stories from the lab explore the role of taste in food diversity, ecology, sensory perception, and identity."

FOOD MEDIA — The San Francisco Chronicle's longtime wine writer and James Beard Award winner Jon Bonné is joining drinks site PUNCH as senior contributing editor. He will write a monthly column for the digital publication.
