Divergent star Shailene Woodley stopped by the Late Show with David Letterman last night to promote her new film, Insurgent. Woodley is happy bone broth is now a trend because it's something she's been consuming for a while. She thinks it's especially beautiful because it "utilizes the whole animal."

The actress starts to walk down a slippery slope, however, when Letterman asks her the difference between stock and bone broth — a debate that has been the subject of much controversy. Woodley boldy declares that "stock is made in two to five hours" while "bone broth is brewed anywhere from 24 to 36 hours." Many argue — including this nifty Twitter bot — that there is no difference between the two. Regardless, Woodley is firmly on team bone broth/stock/brodo/animal bone soup in the morning.
