McDonald's, as a company, is looking a little manic right now. The struggling chain is searching for magic Band-Aids to stop its hemorrhaging: Its latest attempt to capture the hearts and dollars of millions of Americans is kale. Though the chain has not confirmed the report, McDonald's has been paying close attention to consumer dining habits and reacting, knee jerk-like, to each one. Could this year's McRib come with a leaf of McKale? It's not out of the question.

You have always wanted your own namesake sandwich, and though you're not famous, White Castle is offering one lucky human this very prize. Bonus: It's for a good cause. Enter here.

Starbucks announced two things today: First, that it's expanding its order ahead app, called Order & Pay, into 650 new locations in four states: Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska. Starbucks is also going to start offering almond milk — but only in Japan, and only for a limited time.

Catch a ride on the butter wagon y'all. Paula Deen is hiring. Her forthcoming restaurant in Tennessee is currently accepting applications. Managers are looking to hire 200 people to fill positions in the front and back of house. The 4,000 square foot restaurant and retail store will seat 300 when it opens this April.
