Melt Shop Set for DC Debut; NYC's Food Book Fair 2015

Plus, a look inside the gluten-free magazine "GFF."

WASHINGTON, DC— As promised back in August 2014, NYC-based grilled cheese chainlet Melt Shop has been working on a Washington, DC expansion, and Eater DC now has a look inside. The restaurant, located in the K Street, neighborhood, it Melt Shop's first-ever location outside NYC, and will officially debut either Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. BROOKLYN— The fourth-annual installment of the Food Book Fair has set the dates for its 2015 festival: Fans of cookbooks, food magazines, and other culinary publishing ventures will conglomerate in Brooklyn from April 10 to 12, 2015. Confirmed speakers and participants include chefs April Bloomfield, Joanne Chang, and Brooks Headley, and visitors can also expect a pop-up Kitchen Arts & Letters Bookstore and more.
