Police in Oklahoma City are looking for an armed robber who, at the very least, leaves a tip for good service: Local station News9 reports a female suspect first held up an OKC Subway location at gunpoint last month, brandishing the weapon while demanding cash from an employee working at the register. But before fleeing, according to police, the suspect left her victim a $1 tip, dropping a dollar bill in the nearby tip jar while saying, "this is for you."
The robber held up the same Subway restaurant a few days later, although she did not leave a tip the second time around: The Daily Mail reports the polite suspect simply gave the employee/victim a verbal "thank you." And unfortunately, the robber's good deed didn't even benefit the startled Subway worker, as police have confiscated the one-dollar tip as evidence. The incident, however, did lead to an excellent police nickname — they're now appealing for the public's help in catching the "tipping bandit." Go, watch the local news report below:
