Watch Mario Batali Crack Up Over a Fake Brooklyn Restaurant's New Cookbook

FUDS comes out on March 3.

FUDS: A Complete Encyclofoodia from Tickling Shrimp to Not Dying in a Restaurant, is the new book from the best fake Brooklyn restaurant of the same name. FUDS became famous in 2012 when it handed out fake menus to attendees of New York City's GoogaMooga festival with dishes like Mini-hrak Cuddles with Malonies, Round-Eye Flank Stringers with Yankee-poisoned marinara, and the classic Bill Clinton Sandwich. In 2013, FUDS scored a book deal, and the book is finally about to be released next week.

According to a release, FUDS's new book includes helpful tips like "If you hear any kind of beeping, stop what you are doing and leave the kitchen. Never come back." The book even answers the question: "What is the best food?" (Spoiler: It's eggs benedict wrapped in gold).

In this new preview video, chef Mario Batali talks about the forward he wrote, "It's truly the best forward I've ever written. Stick with it." Recipes within include "Devil's Meatcup Christened With a Side of Grayed Chicken Spikes", "Six Hot Dog Weiners," and "Chicken Francese That's Actually Just Rice." Watch on to see what gets Batali to crack up.

FUDS is published by Bloomsbury USA and will be available online and in bookstores on March 3.
