Downtown Disney in Lake Buena Vista, Florida is getting it its very own vegan and gluten-free bakery. Cherry Bombe cover girl Erin McKenna — who own BabyCakes NYC and its sister bakery in Los Angeles — is opening a location at the Walt Disney World Resort. According to a press release, its called Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC it will sell doughnuts, cupcakes, and cookies that are both vegan and gluten-free. There will also be bagels served with vegan butter and savory items "available daily." Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC is slated to open this Sunday, and packaged items from the bakery will be sold at various dining locations within the Walt Disney World resort.

A number of chefs and restaurants are expanding to Downtown Disney: In October, Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto announced that he is opening a pan-Asian place featuring "flavors from across the continent," which means fare like dim sum and Peking duck. Starbucks also opened a location that now features its "Starbucks Evenings" program. This means customers can purchase wine and beer alongside dishes like bacon-wrapped dates and truffle macaroni and cheese.
