Chipotle's 2015 Cultivate Festivals; Chefs Sign On for Oceana Effort

And Chicago's Taste Talks names its 2015 guest curators.

VARIOUS LOCATIONS— Fast-casual juggernaut Chipotle Mexican Grill has announced the three cities for its 2015 installments of its Cultivate food and music festival: The first 2015 event will take place in Phoenix on April 18, featuring chefs Richard Blais, Amanda Frietag, and musical guests Twenty One Pilots and Ms Mr. Chipotle will follow-up with festivals in Kansas City and Minneapolis on July 18 and August 22, respectively. The full line-ups for the latter two events are not yet finalized, but chefs Tim Love (in KC) and Andrew Zimmern (in his hometown of Minneapolis) will be involved. More information here. [EaterWire]

SPAIN— Ocean conservancy organization Oceana has recruited an impressive line-up of chefs for its upcoming campaign titled "Save the Oceans: Feed the World." Chefs Daniel Humm, Andoni Luiz Aduriz, Massimo Bottura, Ferran Adrià, and Enrique Olvera are among those attending the March 17 campaign kick-off at Spain's Basque Culinary Center. CHICAGO— The event's not until October, but Chicago's iteration of the Taste Talks series has announced its guest curators for 2015: chefs April Bloomfield and Paul Kahan. The duo will help select the panelists and participants for the festival, scheduled for October 2 to 4, 2015. [EaterWire]
