The upcoming Nomad Cookbook — from the team behind the hotel, restaurant, and barof the same name — actually comes with a second book dedicated to cocktails. As noted in June, chef Daniel Humm, restauranteur Will Guidara, and bar director Leo Robitschek inked a deal to write a cookbook about the savory dishes, sweet plates, and cocktails at their famed New York City restaurant. A representative for the restaurant tells Eater that Humm and Guidara are responsible for the cookbook component, while Robitschek is behind The Nomad Cocktail Book. The Bar at the Nomad Hotel won a James Beard Award last year for its "Outstanding Bar Program."
Like The Nomad Cookbook, the cocktail book features the same stark and simple cover of gold lettering on a dark background. The books will be published by Ten Speed Press and they hit shelves October 6, 2015. The Nomad Cookbook's steep price tag — $100 — still hasn't changed, but at least you get two books for the price of one.
