NBA living legend Kobe Bryant is obviously a fan of the idea behind "when in Rome, do as the Romans do." The Los Angeles Laker is retiring at the end of this season, so his team's schedule of road games is playing out as a farewell tour of sorts. Bryant played his final game in Atlanta over the weekend, and before he left the city that Waffle House calls home, he stopped in for a taste of the local cuisine.
After the Hawks game last night, Kobe Bryant took his wife to eat at Waffle House for her first time. #OnlyRight

There's no official word on what Bryant and his wife Vanessa ordered. But, any experienced Waffle House fan would say that spread looks like an All-Star Special with scrambled eggs, grits, sausage, and marble rye toast, and an order of covered hashbrowns on the side. [Update: A couple of commenters with even more Waffle House experience think Bryant is eating a Cheese 'N Eggs plate with a waffle on the side.]
It's not the most adventurous Waffle House meal, but since Bryant doesn't know when he might be back, going with a staple is probably the right choice. The professional hoopster hasn't declared whether his love for the Southern diner chain exceeds that held by globetrotting gourmand Anthony Bourdain.
