Eating Bull Penis With a Side of Shame and Regret at Kenka NYC

New, 2 comments

A stop in the East Village for adventurous eaters.

Welcome to the second season of Dining on a Dime, coming to you from New York City. In this season, host Lucas Peterson will scour (nearly) all corners of the city in search of inexpensive, interesting, delicious food.

The first episode brings Peterson to Kenka on St Mark's Place in the East Village, a bizarre, carnivalesque Japanese izakaya. Fittingly, Eater NY critic and cheap eats expert Robert Sietsema joins him, replete with devil mask, to indulge in some beer, fried chicken, as well as some of Kenka's more... unconventional fare.
