Most of us aren't too sure what the typical American family had for dinner in 1915, but Mode's 100 Years of Family Dinners shows the evolution of dinner over the past century — from roast beef and Franconia potatoes in 1915 all the way through grilled salmon over quinoa with a kale salad in 2015. Each decade features one of the more popular dishes of the time, some that are still eaten today and others that have long been extinct.
