Julie Bowen makes a living by starring in ABC's Modern Family, playing a mother to three children, and she takes parenting inspiration by raising three real-life kids of her own. Three kids is a lot, and Bowen isn't afraid to say so. During a segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the actress told Kimmel kids are sort of like cocktails.
"You go to a bar, you have a drink and you feel good," Bowen explains. "You have a second, you are on fire. That third, you're throwing up. You are throwing up, you're making bad decisions. ... Kids are like cocktails. Have a second — that's what I say — not a third."
