From last week's tortas in South LA, cheap eats expert Lucas Peterson sticks to this LA neighborhood for another adventure on Dining on a Dime, in search of amazing friend chicken and fish. CW & Chris opened in a small storefront just weeks before the Rodney King riots rocked the city in 1992 and since has become a city favorite, taking home awards for "Best Fried Chicken" at Steve Harvey's Hoodie Awards on three separate occasions. It continues to serve the neighborhood flawless fried chicken, wings, fish, and oysters.
