This vegetal drink enhances the foresty flavors of gin with juniper oil, making it very appropriate for fall. What You'll Need:
2 oz. Gin
.75 oz. Lime juice
.75 oz. Kombu syrup*
2 dashes of salty water
2 Celery juice ice cubes
3 dashes of juniper oil
*For Kombu Syrup: Pour 500 mL of boiling water over a 15 g piece of kombu and let steep for 8 minutes. Strain the liquid and stir in 500 mL of sugar to dissolve
Add and shake the first five ingredients until the ice cubes completely melt. After shaking, add three drops of juniper oil and then strain into a chilled coupe.
