This vegetal drink enhances the foresty flavors of gin with juniper oil, making it very appropriate for fall. DRIFTWOOD by NICK DUBLE
One serving.What You'll Need:
2 oz. Gin
.75 oz. Lime juice
.75 oz. Kombu syrup*
2 dashes of salty water
2 Celery juice ice cubes
3 dashes of juniper oil
Jigger
Boston shaker
Coupe*For Kombu Syrup: Pour 500 mL of boiling water over a 15 g piece of kombu and let steep for 8 minutes. Strain the liquid and stir in 500 mL of sugar to dissolve
Instructions:
Add and shake the first five ingredients until the ice cubes completely melt. After shaking, add three drops of juniper oil and then strain into a chilled coupe.
