Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream Truck Rolls Into SF; Dine Out Vancouver Festival

SAN FRANCISCO— Cultishly beloved artisan ice cream brand Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams will hit the streets of San Francisco later this week: Eater SF reports the Columbus, Ohio brand's Street Treats Truck will make several stops in the area from January 9 to 12 while founder Jeni Britton Bauer is in town for the Good Food Awards. VANCOUVER— Vancouver, BC's 13th-annual Dine Out Vancouver Festival will take place January 16 to February 1 this year, and the reservation lines will open tomorrow for interested diners to snap up their preferred tables. More than 275 restaurants throughout the city are participating this year, offering some iteration of a three-course prix fixe menu at $18, $28, or $38 price points. In addition to the nightly menu specials, organizers are throwing several ticketed culinary events, like the "Secret Supper" progressive dinner and a tour of local craft distilleries.
