LAS VEGAS — Bon Appetit's Vegas Uncork'd is fast approaching on April 23 through 26, and a slew of new ticketed events have just been released. LA's Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger will host a Border Grill dinner; Hakkasan's Ho Chee Boon returns with a Cantonese six-course dinner paired with wines; pastry chef François Payard will demo chocolates and desserts at Payard Pâtisserie & Bistro; and more.

THE INTERNET — The Taco Emoji, which was introduced by the Unicode Consortium as a potential new emoji for 2015, has raised over 25,000 signatures in a petition as of today thanks to a push from Taco Bell. Though the petition's success does not guarantee the emoji will be released later this year, fans are already abuzz. Until then, consider just texting a taco.

THE CHAINS — Chipotle has released the second installment of its "Cultivating Thought" author series. This week, 10 essays from authors like Amy Tan (The Joy Luck Club, Sagwa, The Bonesetter's Daughter), Augusten Burroughs (Running With Scissors, Dry, Magical Thinking), Aziz Ansari (Parks and Recreation, Date and Switch), Barbara Kingslover (The Poisonwood Bible, Flight Behavior), and Jeffrey Eugenides (Middlesex, The Marriage Plot, The Virgin Suicides) grace to-go cups and bags at Chipotle locations nationwide.
