Philly's Stunt-Burger Chain PYT to Go Global

Photo: Google Maps

The stunt-food-makers behind Philadelphia's PYT — which is responsible for creations like the donut cheesesteak burger and chicken bacon Eggo sliders — are making plans to expand worldwide. According to Franchise Herald, PYT is partnering with Fransmart — a firm responsible for the growth of chains like Qdoba and Five Guys — to open franchises around the world. There are no details regarding when or where the first international stores will open.

PYT partnered with Fransmart in the past in an attempt to expand nationwide and into cities like NYC and DC, but there has not yet been any traction yet. Is a deep-fried Twinkie burger explosion coming soon?
