Professional golfer/multi-millionaire/serial adulterer Tiger Woods will lend his name to a 5,900-square-foot restaurant in Jupiter, Florida's tony Harbourside Place development. According to a press release, The Woods Jupiter: Sports and Dining Club will join previously announced concepts like a Tommy Bahama outpost and a location of BurgerFi. Presumably unlike the Tommy Bahama and BurgerFi, the Woods will feature it own "valet roundabout" and enjoys a prime location next to a marina and "15,000-square-foot amphitheater."
Menu details are scarce, but the golfer, in a canned statement, said that he envisions "a place where people can meet friends, watch sports on TV and enjoy a great meal." Woods is comparatively late to the athletes-who-own restaurants game: Fellow golf legend Arnold Palmer not only has a drink named after him, but also an eponymous restaurant in California. The Woods Jupiter: Sports and Dining Club plans an early 2015 opening; no word yet on if it'll be festooned with golf memorabilia or plans to offer a sports-pun, high-end "ballers" menu.
