The Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall of 3,500 six ounce jars of 4C Grated Cheese HomeStyle Parmesan cheese because it may be contaminated with salmonella. The cheese was most likely distributed across states including Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. Probably best to stick with a wedge of real Parmigiano-Reggiano. [FDA via Consumerist][Photo]
