Jon Favreau's Chef on DVD; Relais & Châteaux Anniversary Dinners

Expect a slew of Relais & Châteaux events from now until November.

FOOD ON FILM— Director Jon Favreau's food film Chef, which first hit theaters in May, will be available on DVD tomorrow, September 30. Viewers can expect extras like deleted scenes and a commentary track with Favreau and LA chef/film consultant Roy Choi. [EaterWire]

VARIOUS LOCATIONS—The Relais & Châteaux group of restaurants and hotels will celebrate its 60th anniversary in North America this fall, with a series of collaborative dinners at its properties in the U.S. and Canada. Unsurprisingly, the group is drawing huge names: The French Laundry's Thomas Keller will team with acclaimed French chef Anne-Sophie Pic during the kick-off event at NYC's Per Se (October 3); it'll be followed by events hosted by chefs like Daniel Boulud, Michael Tusk (of SF's Quince), Mark Ladner (NYC's Del Posto), and more. Additional information and tickets available here. [EaterWire]

ATLANTA— The city of Atlanta is eagerly awaiting its first-ever location of the Shake Shack burger chain, and Eater ATL reports the restaurant will make it official tomorrow morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. [EATL]
