CHICAGO— Toro and Coppa chef Jamie Bissonnette is the guest of honor at Stephanie Izard's final "rooftop clambake" supper of the season at her Chicago restaurant Little Goat. Izard and Bissonnette will join forces for the event, which is this Sunday, to serve a family-style meal of seafood, potatoes, corn, and other traditional accompaniments. Tickets are $75 and available here. [EaterWire]

COLUMBUS— The Kickstarter user who infamously raised $55,000 ostensibly to make potato salad has made good on his promise to throw a free festival in Columbus, Ohio. The Columbus Dispatch reports Zach "Danger" Brown's PotatoStock 2014 will take place this weekend thanks to additional donations from the Idaho Potato Commission and Hellmann's mayonnaise. The event will raise money for the Columbus Foundation, which doles out funds to local non-profit organizations. [CD]

NEW YORK CITY— White truffle season has already arrived in New York City, and Eater NY is busy tracking down the restaurants already serving the beloved luxury item on menus. Among them: Recette, Babbo, and Rosemarys, which is offering to shave truffles over any dish for $45. [ENY]
