French chef Anne-Sophie Pic has plans to expand her restaurant empire to New York City next year. According to the New York Times, Pic — who is the chef behind the three-Michelin starred Maison Pic in Valence, France — will open two restaurants.

The first of Pic's new spots will be a branch of her Monaco-based restaurant, Metcafé. Pic will also open a "more formal restaurant" that is "relaxed yet elegant." It will mimic her Paris-based La Dame de Pic in formality and style. Metcafé will be built on the ground floor of 510 Madison Avenue and La Dame de Pic will occupy the space on the second floor of the Manhattan building.

It’s been a busy year of expansions for Pic who opened a casual restaurant in Valence called Daily Pic back in June.
