Bravo's Best New Restaurant Premieres January 2015

Years in the making, Bravo has finally finished filming its newest series, Best New Restaurant, and today announced the full roster of restaurants set to appear on the show. Host Tom Colicchio — along with a roster of guest hosts — will judge 16 restaurants in four cities over the course of the series. Austin's Barlata Tapas Bar, LA's The Church Key, Miami's The Federal, and L'Apicio in New York City are all featured on the show.

Produced by chef/internet sensation Gordon Ramsay's production company One Potato Two Potato, the show was shot "on location" in order "to highlight each establishment's unique point of view." Judges will rate everything from the menu to decor to service in order to determine the "best top-to-bottom experience." Best New Restaurant was produced in partnership with Bon Appétit magazine. Regular guest judges will include members of the magazine's editorial team, and the show's winner will receive, among other prizes, a spread in the nationally recognized food periodical. BRAVO MEDIA DINES ACROSS THE U.S. IN NEW CULINARY COMPETITION SERIES "BEST NEW RESTAURANT" PREMIERING JANUARY 2015

Sixteen Restaurants Compete From Austin, Los Angeles, Miami and New York

NEW YORK – September 16, 2014 – Bravo Media today announced the 16 restaurants competing on its new culinary competition series "Best New Restaurant," premiering in January 2015. Hosted by acclaimed chef and restaurateur Tom Colicchio and produced by restaurateur and TV personality Gordon Ramsay's production company One Potato Two Potato, the series takes a look at the food world from a fresh direction: the restaurant. The majority of the series will be shot on location at the restaurants themselves to highlight each establishment's unique point of view.

Colicchio, along with a team of experts, pits 16 of the nation's hottest new restaurants against each other in a series of challenges aimed at determining which provides the best top-to-bottom experience. The restaurants will not only be judged on the dishes that are served, but also everything from decor to hospitality to overall concept. Colicchio will travel across the nation in search of one restaurant that deserves to be crowned "Best New Restaurant" and win an editorial feature in Bon Appétit as well as a featured spot at America's No. 1 global food festival, Vegas Uncork'd by Bon Appétit 2015.
