Here's a trailer for The Magic of Heineken, an upcoming documentary about the history of Heineken, which recently turned down an acquisition offer from SABMiller. According to a press release, the nearly 80-minute film was filmed in 13 countries and takes a look at the beer's 150-year history. Between dramatic shots of beer overflowing and bottles being opened, the trailer reveals that Heineken is one of the few beers "competing for the top spot" in every country.
The documentary will be "released simultaneously" in theaters in New York and other major U.S. cities and on Premium VOD October 7, followed by a general DVD release on November 4. Go, watch the trailer:
