Martha Stewart Tells Gwyneth Paltrow to 'Be Quiet'

New, 14 comments

Though she has plenty of fans, GOOP founder/actress/kale enthusiast Gwyneth Paltrow is not receiving any love from lifestyle mogul Martha Stewart. According to the New York Post, Stewart told Porter magazine that Paltrow "just needs to be quiet." Stewart continued throwing daggers: "She's a movie star. If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn't be trying to be Martha Stewart." Ouch. How many jars of vegannaise is Paltrow going to consume to ease the pain of that burn?

This isn't the first time Stewart has thrown about 50 shades of shade at Paltrow. Last year she told Bloomberg TV: "I haven't eaten at Gwyneth's house and I've never seen how she lives... She's a charming, pretty person who has a feeling for lifestyle. She wants to be a lifestyle arbiter, fine, good. I think I started this whole category of lifestyle." Shortly after that, when asked by TMZ who is the better "lifestyle coach" was between her and Paltrow, Stewart sharply replied that "you have to live to be a coach." Who will be Stewart's next victim? Perhaps Cheesecake Factory lover/weird lifestyle website-creator Blake Lively should start building herself a chic DIY bunker now.
