Panda Express Unleashes Mobile Ordering Nationwide

Mall food court-staple Panda Express has launched mobile ordering to make it even easier for customers to order buckets or orange chicken or super trendy shiitake kale chicken bowls. Nation's Restaurant News writes that the chain rolled out the feature at its more than 1,500 stores across the nation.

The app — which Panda Express began testing last December — offers a unique feature that "enables group ordering across multiple devices." This means you can order fried rice and then send a link to your roommate who can order 14 egg rolls and the whole order will show up as being for a single table. Best of all, either one user can pay for the full order, or each person can pay individually. A slew of restaurants — including McDonald's, Starbucks, and Subway — have launched or experimented with mobile ordering recently. The Panda Express mobile app is available for both iOS and Android.
